Established in 2000, Discrete Wireless is a leading provider of mobile resource management solutions in the United States. The company uses web-hosted software-as-a-service solutions in concert with Global Positioning Satellite based hardware to help local fleet managers drive operational efficiencies and reduce costs in their geographically dispersed mobile fleets. Discrete Wireless focuses primarily on small and medium sized local fleets and currently serves more than 5,000 companies and manages over 60,000 subscribers. The company is one of three Francisco Partners investments in the telematics sector (the other two being Dmatek and Cybit). We intend to continue to add to the Discrete Wireless platform in the United States and are actively seeking potential add-on opportunities in the mobile resource management market.
